Spot Cards

Top  Previous  Next

You may specify “spot” cards (two through nine cards) with an “x”. These “x” cards will be replaced with random spot cards of the specified suit. You can also specify voids in various suits by placing the “V” card in the desired hand.

If you enter more than 13 cards the hand will not be saved.  If you specify fewer than 13 cards for a hand, the remaining cards will be filled with random cards from all remaining cards.

NOTE: With one exception, if you deal some cards in a suit to a player, no further cards in that suit will be dealt to that player. For example, if you deal AQx in spades to North, then the North hand will have exactly 3 spades: the Ace, Queen, and a spot card.

EXCEPTION: If you deal cards in a suit to all four players, but have not dealt all 13 cards in that suit, the above stated rule can not be complied with. In this situation, the remaining cards in that suit will be dealt randomly to all hands that have less then 13 cards.
