Comments are placed in PBN files in two ways. 1.Rest-of-Line approach: Place a semi-colon and your comment after the PBN tag. The comment goes for the rest of the line. This approach only allows one line of comments. [East "Soloway"] ;This is a "pro" player at the table 2.Brace Characters: You can place an unlimited number of lines of comments between brace characters. { All the comments you want between braces }
Suit symbols in comments are held in PBN files with \C, \D, \H, \S - which DDS displays as ♣♦♥♠.
DDS prefers you use an asterisk instead of a slash in front of the suit letter; e.g. !S for a ♠
Displaying comments Check the Option Menu "Show all comments"
Editing/deleting comments Use the standard Windows editing techniques to edit or remove comments. Your changes will be saved when the comment box is closed or when you read a new deal. |
