Filter on bid sequence |
Top Previous Next |
This bidding sequence filter works in conjunction with all regular filter options. Fill in the bidding sequences you want to Include or Exclude, putting a - (hyphen) between each bid. Use P for pass, X for double, and XX for redouble. For suits, use C,D,H,S, or N, upper or lower case. You may use m for either minor and M for either major. Use -_- (one underscore) to indicate any legal bid. Thus one underscore will indicate either -P- or -X - since it is only one character while -__- (two underscores) indicates any two character bid such as 3S or even XX.
Do not use () parentheses to indicate opponents' bids.
All deals with any portion of the indicated auction will be included/excluded.
Examples: Include: 1M-?-4M This would include all immediate jumps to 4M by responder, regardless of a pass or any bid by opponent. Exclude: 1M-p-4M This would exclude hands where there was no interference. Using both the Include and the Exclude lines above, the resulting deals in your filtered set would only include deals with some interference.
This example below will find all deals where one side jumps directly to the 3 level in any suit or NT after the other side has made a bid at the one level.
Bids/calls by all seats must be shown for as many bids as you want. Any bids before your first indicated bid or after your last bid will not be filtered out. For example, filtering on 1S-P-1N-2D would includes the following deals P-1H-P-1S-P-1N-2D-P-P-P 1C-1H-P-1S-P-1N-2D-2S-P-3S-P-P-P P-P-P-1H-P-1S-P-1N-2D-X-P-3S-P-P-P
The "regular" filter will allow you to filter on the opening bid and the final contract.
You can also use m for either minor suit or M for either major suit. For example: 1m-p-1M-p-1N These few examples would be included P-1C-p-1H-p-1N-P-P-P P-1C-p-1S-p-1N-P-P-P P-1D-p-1H-p-1N-P-P-P P-1D-p-1S-p-1N-P-P-P 1D-p-1S-p-1N-P-3N-P-P-P
